1. Certificate of No Impediment (CNI)
The first document that must be prepared by the Mexican partner is the Certificate of No Impediment (CNI). This certificate is issued by the relevant Mexican authorities, such as the Mexican Embassy in Indonesia or the civil registry office in their home country.
Its function is to officially declare that the Mexican citizen is not currently married and is legally free to marry an Indonesian citizen. To be valid in Indonesia, the CNI must be translated into Bahasa Indonesia by an official translator and then legalized by the Mexican Embassy in Indonesia.

2. Valid Passport Copy

5. Copy of Official ID Card (KTP or Equivalent)
Mexican citizens must attach a copy of their official ID card, such as the Credencial para Votar or another national identity card. This is necessary for processing the CNI and embassy legalization. For Indonesians, a copy of their ID card (KTP) and Family Card (Kartu Keluarga) must also be submitted as proof of identity and family ties.
